About Our Products
Our beliefs: Pur o Natur, pronounced ‘peer o nateer’ is Welsh and means ‘Pure from Nature’. As a mother of three children, prone to skin allergies, I was concerned with what myself and my children used on their skin, and so I started to look for good quality natural skincare products for us to use. This led to forming this small family-run ethical company in the belief that everyone should benefit from skincare products that are as pure and natural as can be.
Our products: Full of natural goodness, every ingredient is chosen for the benefit of your skin and body. So, just as with all things from nature they need caring for; our skincare products should be kept in a cool dark place, away from sunlight and radiators. They should be used whilst at their freshest and best.
Not tested on animals: None of our products or ingredients have been tested on animals.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians: All our products are suitable for vegetarians, but some do contain goat’s milk, honey and beeswax, so read the ingredients carefully.
No Chemicals!: The skin absorbs up to 60% of what we apply to it, so we believe that whatever we put on our bodies should not be harmful to us, the environment or our world. We at Pur o Natur believe that skincare products should be free from petrochemicals, artificial perfumes and toxins. There are absolutely no SLS, SLES, parabens, phthalates, isopropyl alcohol, methylisothiazolinone or propylene glycol in any of our products.
Fairly traded: Many of our products are made from fairly-traded ingredients, such as shea-butter, cocoa-butter and plant essential oils. This means that the overseas producers of these products are being paid a fair price for them and thereby allowing them to live and work in their communities.
Enviromentally friendly: We aim to keep our carbon footprint as low as possible, so all our products are locally sourced within Wales, many within just a few miles. By buying our products you are therefore supporting business in rural areas and not buying products which have been transported for miles after their manufacture. All our business energy requirements are from renewable electricity. The paper and packaging that we use is all either re-cycled or bio-degradable and can be recycled so as to have a minimum impact on the environment. The majority of jars and bottles that we supply are made of glass and so are re-cyclable and this also prevents the leaking of chemicals into the creams and lotions from plastic jars.
We offer parties selling our products in our local area of north west Wales. Please see the page about 'Parties' for more information.
